  • other logistical fees associated with getting our disabled veterans into the field.

 

The average cost of getting one of our disabled veterans on a quality hunt varies depending on the type of activity. This can range from $250 for wing shoots and fishing trips to as high as $5000 for big game out of state.

Washington State Combined Fund Drive (CFD)Washington State Combined Fund Drive

Outdoors For Our Heroes is a member charity of the Washington State Combined Fund Drive (CFD). The CFD is Washington State’s workplace giving program for active and retired public employees. State and higher education employees are invited to give to the charity of their choice through payroll contribution and agency fundraising events.

There are several ways to give through the CFD.

  • Monthly Contribution: a recurring amount will be taken out of each paycheck until the employee chooses to stop.
  • One-time contribution: a single donation is collected and distributed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
  • Limited-time contribution: donations will be taken out of each paycheck for a set amount of time as defined by the employee.
  • Personal check

 

Getting Started

To participate in the CFD and make either a one-time or recurring donation to Outdoors For Our Heroes, simply search the CFD website using our Charity Code 1482216 or Charity Name Outdoors For Our Heroes to get started.
