OFOH August 1st Banquet Cancellation Letter
and announcement of Online Auction

To all of our supporters,
Due to the unforeseen latest communication from Governor Inslee rolling social gatherings back to less than 10 persons, the Outdoors For Our Heroes Board of Directors has made the very difficult decision to cancel our 4th Annual Dinner Banquet, which was to be held on August 1st at Hanger 51 in Thurston County.

We have made great planning efforts and spent countless months planning for what was to be another great event, and so it saddens us greatly to cancel so close to the planned date. The reasons for the cancellation are, as you know, out of OFOH’s control. Over the next few days members of the OFOH Board of Directors and the auction committee will be contacting every person or company who bought tickets to this year’s event to discuss available options for supporting OFOH.

We are, however, planning to move forward with an online auction! It is OFOH’s hope you are still willing to support our fundraising efforts through these tough times, via this online auction. The online auction will go live on August 17th at 6pm, and will end on August 22nd at 7pm. The auction preview and pre-registration will go live on August 5th at 7pm. An email with a link to the online auction page will be posted online; on our website, on social media, and sent directly to all of our supporters by August 5th. Please keep an eye out for this!

It is through the generosity of members of our community such as yourself that our program will make it through these times, and will still be able to serve our disabled veterans through the therapeutic healing our outdoor adventures provide.

Thank you for your support of OFOH as we work to continue to serve our deserving veterans!

Regrettably,
Jason Brown President, Outdoors For Our Heroes
