We are an all-volunteer organization who honor service-connected disabled veterans, active duty and first responders by providing burden-free outdoor adventures to help improve mental health and quality of life.

Outdoors For Our Heroes mission is to help service disabled vets build hope, confidence, and family strength through quality outdoor adventures.

Why We Serve

Outdoors for Our Heroes (OFOH) offers therapeutic outdoor experiences for disabled veterans, active duty and first responders, focusing on guided hunting, fishing trips and rod building classes. Our programs are designed to foster healing, build friendships, and enhance the well-being of our most deserving heroes through meaningful connections with nature and likeminded individuals.

Services and Programs:

  • Hosted and Guided Hunting Trips: Professionally organized hunts tailored to individual’s needs, providing peaceful and invigorating experiences in nature.
  • Guided Fishing Trips: Fishing excursions that offer individuals a calming and rewarding environment to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
  • Rod Building Classes: These classes are at no cost and offer the opportunity for individuals to learn a lasting new skill that gets them outdoors and experiencing a new hobby.
  • Community and Support: Building a supportive network among like-minded  individuals through shared outdoor experiences.
  • Holistic Healing Approach: Addressing physical, mental, and emotional well-being through engagement with nature and community.
